Nahal Tehrani

Nahal Tehrani is a partner at UIPatent, specializing in the assessment of new technologies, preparation, and prosecution of patent applications worldwide. She drafts and prosecutes Canadian, US, and international patent applications to grant, and advises clients on filing strategies and patent validity. She offers strategic advice and conducts thorough due diligence reviews of patent portfolios. Nahal provides guidance on IP management and strategic planning and has prepared numerous patentability, infringement, and validity opinions.

Nahal assists clients in identifying their intellectual property needs and has successfully secured patents for a diverse clientele, including start-ups, small to medium-sized companies, major multinational corporations, and university researchers. She has proven invaluable in protecting patent rights across various technologies, including automotive, medical devices and imaging systems, household consumer products (kitchen appliances, child safety, pet safety, furniture, smart home devices), industrial food and beverage processing equipment, electronic devices, construction equipment and building systems, communication systems, cannabis accessories (vaporizers), solar power devices and systems, educational technology, gaming devices and accessories,
